This Church is here for You

We invite you to join with us in worshipping God and letting Him lead us and refresh us.

The church of St John the Baptist has been a key part of Bodicote for over 800 years, supporting the community and allowing people to worship God through prayer and services. We welcome anyone who wants to join us or find out about the Anglican faith. Take a look around our website and feel free to contact us (see the contact section) if you require any more information.

We have various services throughout the week as well as special services during church festivals; take a look at the services list for more information on these. The church is also open for prayer during the day; we look forward to meeting you!

If you are interested in the many church groups which meet regularly, or want to find out about the Church's role in our community, please take a look at the community section.

We welcome people of all ages, take a look at our children and youth section if you are interested in activities for younger people.

An important role of the church is to help the community. We welcome being told of anyone who needs a hospital or home visit, as sometimes we are not always aware of all the needs in the parish. Also, anyone who is unwell and would like to receive Holy Communion at home should contact one of the church officers and it will be arranged.

If you want to find out about the history of the church, then take a look at our history section, which contains an overview of Bodicote church’s long and interesting past.

If none of the above sections can help you then try our frequently asked questions section.

If we can help you in any way, then please contact us, otherwise we hope you find this website useful.
