Please ask to join the group via this link if you have not already received an invite to do so. Everyone is welcome to join in, so please share the link with local family and friends. Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions, we are having to keep it fairly local to facilitate delivery of winning lots.

As not everyone is on Facebook, we are also accepting ‘offline’ bids via

Winners will be contacted as soon as possible after the end of the auction – please be patient as it’s a new venture for us!
100 CLUB UPDATE
As you may be aware, we suspended the actual draws for our 100 club, although subscriptions continued to run, when the lockdown started. However, we are now in a position to resume then, starting with a ‘catch up’ of the 3 draws we have missed, plus the one for June at the end of this month. We intend to make these draws on 30th June and will post them on our Facebook page.
If you would like to purchase some or more numbers, please let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org. We are also happy to accept ‘backdated’ subscriptions for these 4 draws only – payment required in advance of them!
Christian Aid week
We raised over £500 for Christian Aid week with the Just giving page Gilly set up and cash donations. We cannot give a firm total of donations from church as we are aware that some people donated directly on to the Christian Aid website.
Thank you to all who contributed.
Paul’s 1,000miles for May challenge
We are delighted to announce that the total raised currently stands at £1,523 – an amazing total. Thank you to Paul for his efforts.
A huge thank you to Karen Hin, who has been busy sewing non-surgical face masks and donating the profits to the church. Over £400 has been raised.
Christian aid week
This year’s Christian Aid Week will undoubtedly be a different experience, but we know you will do all you can to make it the same life-changing and joyous week Christian Aid has run since 1957. Now, more than ever, our gifts, prayers and action are desperately needed as our partners strive to continue their work with poor communities worldwide, as well as working hard to reduce the impact of covid-19 on the communities they work with. The world’s poorest countries have the weakest health systems, and many of the most vulnerable people are now being exposed to this deadly virus. They’ll struggle to get the healthcare they need, and with the added cost of not earning a living while in lockdown or quarantine. Our partners are already embedded in these communities working on your behalf to limit the impact of covid-19. You can find out more about what we are doing on our Coronavirus Appeal page.
Please feel free to join Christian Aid in any of our Christian Aid week online events:
Sunday 10 May, 1.00pm
Live-streamed Christian Aid Week service with Dr Rowan Williams.
Monday 11 – Saturday 16 May, 11am
Live daily reflections from our staff and partners overseas.
Sunday 10 – Saturday 16 May, 7.30pm
Daily fun quizzes for the whole family throughout Christian Aid Week.
You can sign up to join these virtual events on our website today.
We have a dedicated Just Giving page :https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/gillian-taylorallen1
Phone donations can be made on 02075 232269
We are also happy to receive cash and cheques donations through the vicarage door – please make cheques payable to ‘Bodicote PCC’ and we will raise a cheque to Christian Aid to cover them.
We would appreciate all physical donations in by 31st May
Your fundraising efforts will help poor communities worldwide to lift themselves out of poverty. Love never fails. Coronavirus impacts all of us. But love unites us all.
